LENTERA HUKUM is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to providing thoughtful and scholarly works with aims to explore and expand the boundaries of law and legal studies. Published three times a year, this platform accommodates high-quality manuscripts embedding with fundamental, long-term, systemic problems, and possible solutions, in the light of theoretical, doctrinal, multi-disciplinary, empirical, and comparative studies. The special emphasis in this journal is placed on a variety of contemporary development with contextual analysis to complement an increasingly wide range of studies in the field of law and society. This journal is organized by the Faculty of Law and the Centre for Human Rights, Multiculturalism, and Migration of the University of Jember, Indonesia.
The journal is nationally accredited by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia.
Focus and Scope
The journal invites works on contemporary legal development in the light of theoretical, doctrinal, multi-disciplinary, empirical, and comparative studies. Articles submitted to this journal may cover topical issues, but not limited to constitutional and administrative law, corporate law, criminal justice, indigenous law, private international law, public international law, international economic law, human rights law, and intellectual property law.
This journal publishes articles three times a year in April, July, and December. Since 2018, this journal has published a minimum of 10 articles in one issue.
Article Processing Charges
The submission and publication of articles in this journal do not charge any article processing fees. However, all articles submitted in the Indonesian language will be translated to English and authors are charged for translation fee (IDR 500,000.00). This policy is applied to manuscripts published from the July 2019 edition (Volume 6 Issue 2 2019). Otherwise, authors are recommended to submit their articles in English.
This journal utilizes the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. All content in the CLOCKSS Archive and the Global LOCKSS Network is preserved with explicit publisher permission, secured via a written contract or through online permission statements. We work closely with LOCKSS network implementers to facilitate the development of governance and legal terms that are appropriate to the implicated content, jurisdictions, rights, and access affordances. Our work also licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License.
All contents of the journal are freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Authors and readers are allowed to read, download, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal. All published articles can be accessed online for free.
