Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know how the increasing multirepresentation ability in class VII-A SMP Negeri 14 Jember after having the cooperative learning model think pair share with demonstration method . The type of this research is classroom action research (CAR). The data of multirepresentation ability is gotten by scoring post-test. The data analysis uses N-gain show that there is increasing verbal representation ability of verbal representation from g = 0.44 in cycle 1 , g = 0.56 in cycle 2 and g = 0.63 in cycle 3 ; mathematical representation from g = 0.21 in cycle 1 , g = 0.35 in cycle 2 and g = 0.36 in cycle 3 ; image representation from g = 0.31 in cycle 1 , g = 0.48 in cycle 2 and g = 0.49 in cycle 3 ; graphical representation from g = 0.34 in cycle 1 , g = 0.30 in cycle 2 and g = 0.35 in cycle 3 . The result of this data analysis proof that learning use cooperative learning model to think pair share with demonstration method is able to increasing multirepresentation ability in class VII-A SMP Negeri 14 Jember.
