Understanding the material requires the ability to think critically. With critical thinking, students' understanding can be said to be good on ionizing and non-ionizing radiation material. In this study using descriptive research methods with a quantitative approach. The purpose of using this method is to describe the understanding of physics education students in understanding ionizing radiation material (ionizing) type of gamma rays on food preservation. Respondents in this study were physics education students at the University of Jember totaling 50 students. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires. Based on the results of the analysis of the answers obtained from the Physics Education students of Jember University on the questionnaire regarding the understanding of gamma-ray irradiation techniques in food preservation, it can be concluded that the understanding of the concept of students is quite good. Students who are prospective physics teachers must have an understanding of the concept of physics. However, the students' creative thinking ability is relatively low. This research's purpose is to study the effect of Project Based Learning model on junior high school student's creative thinking ability. This research is a quasi-experiment type with a non-equivalent control group design that is located in SMPN 1 Pakuniran on the 7<sup>th</sup>-grade students. Based on the analytic result, the normality test using Shapiro Wilk scored 0.259 for the experiment class and 0.64 for the control class (p value>0,05), the independent sample t-test scored 0,000 (sig.≤0,05), and the right-tailed t-test scored 18,833 > 1,725. However, in reality the scientific literacy skills of students in Indonesia are still relatively low, therefore a learning model is needed that can improve students' scientific literacy skills, for example by using a guided inquiry learning model. This research aims to test the guided inquiry learning model assisted by science v-lab media on earth's surface layer material which can have an effect on increasing scientific literacy in junior high school students. This research is a quasi-experimental type with a post-test only control design located at SMPN 2 Panti Jember for grade 7 students. The results of the research are that the highest score in the experimental class is 91.66 with an average of 85.05, while the highest score is in the control class. namely 83.3 with an average of 66.40. The research data was obtained using the experimental method. Different styles indicate different sound intensity levels, the higher the force applied, the higher the resulting sound intensity and vice versa, the lower the potential energy, the lower the sound intensity, following the equation y = 3.5341e0.7416x with y as a level function Sound intensity and x as the hitting force. It focuses instead on kinetic and potential energies as the core of the entire system. The primary goal of this study is to derive the equations of motion for the coupled pendulums connected by a spring system using Lagrange equation. Two identical pendulums, each positioned at the end of its respective lengths, were connected by a spring. Formulating the Lagrangian for this system enabled the derivation of the equation of motion through the Lagrange equation. These equations were graphically represented with predefined initial conditions.</em> <em>The results revealed a recurring pattern: as amplitude of the first pendulum increased, the amplitude of the second pendulum decreased and vice versa. This research aims to the influence of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on students' scientific literacy abilities at SMPIT Cordova Samarinda with a focus on the subject of climate change. In addition, this research aims to measure improvements in indicators of scientific literacy skills among students. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental research type and a nonequivalent control group design. The research population consisted of class VII students at SMPIT Cordova Samarinda, totaling 140 students spread across five classes. The experimental group consisting of 30 Class VII B1 students and the control group consisting of 28 Class VII B2 students were selected as samples. Data collection involved an assessment consisting of 8 essay questions given to students before and after participating in the PBL session. This research shows a statistically significant positive effect of using the PBL model on students' scientific literacy skills, with the highest increase in indicators seen in evaluating and designing scientific investigations.</em></p>2023-12-17T13:52:08+07:00##submission.copyrightStatement##
