MODEL PROBLEM BASED INSTRUCTION (PBI) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR FISIKA SISWA KELAS IX D SMP NEGERI 14 JEMBER

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the model of Problem Based Instruction ( PBI ) in increasing physical activity and learning results IXD graders of SMP Negeri 14 Jember . The research method used was action research . Data to determine the increase in students' learning activities obtained from the observations , whereas the data to determine the value of learning results obtained from post-test on the pre - learning cycle , the first cycle and second cycle . Magnitude of the observation data obtained percentage of students in learning activities pre - cycle was 21.57 % , the first cycle of 66.27 % , and the second cycle was 79.81 % . Student learning results have increased respectively - participated in the pre - cycle to cycle 1 and cycle 1 to cycle 2 with the proceeds from the gain value of 0.35 is included in the category of medium , the gain value of 0.28 , which means an increase in the low category . The results of the analysis of these data prove that the model of problem based learning Instruction ( PBI ) can increase physical activity and learning results IXD graders of SMP Negeri 14 Jember
