Abstract

Learning cycle is a series of stages of activities ( phase ) are organized in such a way that learners can master the competencies , which must be achieved in the way of learning to play an active role . The learning cycle has 5 phases , namely , engagement , exploration , explanation , elaboration , and evaluation, Purpose of this study was to determine the student after upgrading multirepresentasi applied learning cycle model on based multirepresentasi and to assess significant differences between students' learning outcomes using a learning cycle metod on based multirepresentasi with conventional learning models . This type of research is experimental research , while the the data collection techniques used are documentation , interviews , and tests. For the analysis of the data is using the formula Ng ( Normalized Gain ) and t - test. Showed results of this study, an increase of verbal ability representation of students of high criteria , and capacity building mathematical representations , images , and graphics are the criteria for the students, and there are significant differences between the learning outcomes of students who apply a learning cycle metod on based multirepresentasi with conventional learning on learning physics in junior high school .
