Focus and Scopes
BIOGRAPH-I is an academic journal jointly organized and operated by the Faculty of Public Health based out of the University of Jember and the Indonesian Public Health Association (IPHA) or Ikatan Ahli Kesehatan Masyarakat Indonesia (IAKMI).
BIOGRAPH-I primarily focuses on the academic discussion and analysis of biostatistics and health information system, demographic, and reproductive health in developing countries and beyond.
BIOGRAPH-I accepts original articles and reviews articles covering the following topics:
1. Reproductive health
A study that focuses on the field of reproductive health, reproductive rights, and maternal and child health concerning women, children, adolescents, aging, and families, such as access to recommended prenatal and well-child care, infant and maternal mortality prevention, maternal and child mental health, newborn screening, child immunizations, child nutrition and services for children with special health care needs.
2. Biostatistics and health information system
A study that focuses on the field of statistical process and methods applied to the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data, especially data relating to public health such as big data, population census, and surveys.
3. Demographics
A study that focuses on the field of demographical components such as fertility, fecundity, mortality, mobility, migration, and population dynamics.
BIOGRAPH-I can be used by health practitioners, health caregivers, teachers, medical students, and people interested in health issues.
