PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA-FISIKA PADA SISWA KELAS VIII C SMP NEGERI 7 JEMBER TAHUN AJARAN 2014/2015 DENGAN MODEL INKUIRI MELALUI TEKNIK PICTORIAL RIDDLE
Abstract
The purposes of this research are to describe the improvement of students activities by inquiry model with pictorial riddle techniques in class VIII C SMP Negeri 7 Jember and to describe the improvement of students cognitive learning achievement after learning process. Subjects ofthis research were students in class VIII C SMP Negeri 7 Jember. The techniques of data collection were observation, test, documentation, and interview. Analysis techniques of data were qualitative and quantitativedescriptive. The results of this research are the average of student’s activities on pre-cycle is 45,43% in less active category, the cycle Iis 71,29% in the fairly active category, and the cycle II is 78,7% in active category aditionelly the score average of student’s learning achievements on pre cycle is 67,3, on cycle I is 75,72,and on cycle II is 81,32. The value n-gain on cycle I is 0,41 in medium category, and on cycle II is 0,62 in medium category. The conclusion of this research are there are improvement of student’s activities and student’s cognitive achievements by inquiry model through pictorial riddle of techniques in class VIII C SMP Negeri 7 Jember.
