Abstract

Learning innovation components that can create a student-centered learning and involve science process skills are essential. This research aimed toward the effect of guided inquiry model with Domino game Physics (Domfis) of the science process skills, student learning, and describe the students' response to the application of guided inquiry model along with Domino Physics (Domfis) in physics learning at senior high school. This research was an experiment’ research with two classes as a sample, class X MIPA 1 as an experimental class and class X MIPA 2 as the control class that specified using cluster sampling technique. The design research is a randomized, pre-test, post-test design. The results showed that there was an influence of guided inquiry model along with domino physics (Domfis) toward the science process skills and the result of students’ learning. Based on the analysis result on the test scores science process skills and the value of pre-test and post-test shows that the average score of the students science process skills in the experimental class was higher than the control class, and the average of students’ learning result in the experimental class was higher than the control class. Students’ responses was given to the application of guided inquiry model along with Domino Physics (Domfis) in learning physics is a positive response or a favorable response with an average percentage of 79.82% of student response.
