Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of discovery learning model aided macromedia flash animation with LKS that integrated with multirepresentation on learning activities, learning achievement and retention of senior high school students. The study was conducted to students’ class X. This research was a experimental study. Data collection techniques in this study include tests , observation , documentation and interview. To test the hypothesis of research used analytical techniques independent Sample T-Test with a level of 0.05 level with SPSS version 16.0. Based on the analysis Independent Sample T-Test for learning activities, learning achievement and retention of learning achievement obtained sig. smaller than α = 0.05. So hypothesis testing the right side (one-tailed) was used, sig. (P-value) divided by 2. Because sig. < 0.05 so Ha is received. So it can be concluded that the activity of learning, learning achievement and retention of student learning achievement in experimental class is better than the control class, which means that the model of discovery learning aided macromedia flash animation with LKS that integrated with multirepresentation was significantly influence on learning activities, learning achievement and retention of senior high school students.
