Abstract

The focus of this study is to demonstrate and discuss the educational advantages of Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI). The purpose of this research is to produce media of atomic theory based on CAI that’s  valid logically, valid empirically, and reliable. This study is oriented in development research to produce products such as media learning based on CAI. The design of this study using a research model 4-D ( define, design , develop , and disseminate ) that is modified into 3-D ( define, design , and develop ). Data analysis that’s used in this research is a logical data validity, empirical validity, and reliability. Logical validity value is 4.18 (logical valid), the value of the empirical validity is 4.45 ( empirically valid ) and data of one way anova showed a significant level is greater than α (alfa), that’s  means that the zero hypothesis is accepted (reliable). can be concluded that the media of atomic’s theory that’s had been produced is logically valid, empirically valid, and reliabel
