Abstract

This research aims to improve the inquiry activities and the completeness of learning outcomes through implementation of inquiry based learning contextually for high school students. The research subjects were students of X A classes SMAN Pasirian Lumajang of the school year 2011/2012, with the amount of students are 36 students. Every stage of this class action research is participatory and collaboration between researchers with subject teachers of physics SMAN Pasirian Lumajang. The results showed an increase in the activity of inquiry and the completeness of student learning outcomes.
