Abstract

The research focused on the implementation of project based learning model with audio-visual media in the learning physics. Purposes of this study were to study the influence of the model on the learning physics achievement, to describe the students' science process skills during teaching and learning process, and to study the relationship between students' science process skills and physisc learning achievement. The type of this research was quasy experiment with the control group post test only design. The population of this research were students of class X at SMAN 4 Jember (2014/2015). Technique to collect the data were observation, interview, test and documentation. The data were analized by using Independent Sample T-Test and Bivariate Correlations-Pearson with the help of SPSS 16. The results were: (1) the value of t-count was 0,526 (more than 0,05), it means Ha rejected, (2) the average of percentage students' science process skills for experimental class was 90,10 %, and (3) the relation score between students' science process skills and achievement was 0,023 (less than 0,05), it means Ha received. The research can be concluded that: there was no significant influence the model to students' physics achievement, students' science process skills during teaching and learning process was classified into good criteria, and there was a significant relationship between students' science process skills and physics learning achievement during the implementation project based learning model with audio-visual media.
