The current cheif editor of Jurnal ILMU DASAR is Purwatiningsih with the team that consists of Dwi Indari, Arie Srihardyastutie, Eva Tyas Utami, Miftahul Ilmi, Hasih Pratiwi, Bowo Eko Cahyono, Abduh Riski, Kahar Muzakhar, Siswoyo, Bambang Piluharto, and Yoyok Yulianto. The office of Jurnal ILMU DASAR is located at FMIPA, University of Jember, Jl. Kalimantan 37, Tegalboto Jember, 68121, Indonesia.

At the begin of July 2014, Jurnal ILMU DASAR has been registered in CrossRef thus articles that are published in Volume 15 No. 2 and forward (some archive issues before Vol 15 No. 2 has been registered) hold Digital Object Identifier (DOI) number. Jurnal ILMU DASAR has been currently indexed by both national and international indexer institutions such as: DOAJ (International), Google Scholar (International), Garba Rujukan Digital (GARUDA - National), Indonesia One Search (National), and other citation databases of peer-reviewed scientific literature. 

Starting from January 2017, Jurnal ILMU DASAR have been collaborated in Konsorsium Biologi Indonesia and Himpunan Kimia Indonesia.
