Implementing a Policy to Accelerate Stunting Reduction as a Public Health Development Effort in Ponorogo Regency
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the policy to accelerate stunting reduction as an effort to develop public health carried out by the Family Planning Counseling Center in Sooko District, Ponorogo Regency. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach through data collection in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation. Determination of informants using purposive sampling technique consisting of 2 family planning instructors, Head of Family Welfare and Resilience, Head of BKB, and TPK. The validity of the data in this study used extended observations, increased persistence, and triangulation consisting of triangulation of sources, techniques, and time. Then the data analysis technique using the Miles & Huberman model analysis includes collection, reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Furthermore, the results of the study indicate that the implementation of the policy to accelerate stunting reduction is carried out by the Family Planning Counseling Center as an effort to develop public health through outreach activities in the form of health promotion and training on the ELSIMIL application to prevent the risk of stunting
