Abstract




The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in students' understanding of history in the national movement material through the field trip learning method. This study used a qualitative research type where the research was conducted using observation methods at the Museum Sumpah Pemuda and literature studies on several relevant sources. The results obtained are (1) the history teacher's problems in teaching history to students; (2) knowing the field trip learning method at the Museum Sumpah Pemuda; and (3) the benefits of historical learning methods to improve understanding of history.
