Abstract

Abstract.Role Playing is a kind of gestural games which contains of purposes, rules, and involves the happiness. Role Playing teaching model invites students learning while playing so that students can be motivated in teaching learning process.  The objectives of this research are to improve the result of students’ learning and activities in the classroom. This research is classroom action research that was conducted in two cycles, first cycle and second cycle. This research are expected to give the improvement to the result of students’ learning and activities in the classroom. According to the result of this research, Role Playing teaching model revealed the result of students’ learning and activities. The average of students’ cognitive mark in the class improved from 73,16 to 82,89 while the average of students’ psychomotor mark in the class improved from 74,99 to 82,45. In same line, the average of students’ affective mark from cycle I to cycle II improved from 73,68 to 80,26 while the average of students’ activities mark improved from 69,29 to 74,41.  Therefore, it can be concluded that  Role Playing teaching model can be used as an appropriate model in teaching learning process.
