Abstract

Abstract.The mathematic score in SMP Negeri 1 Ajung has not reached maximum standart. The everage score of grade VII A evaluation test has not reached SKM. It was caused by the teacher learning method which use the expository for their daily learning activity. One of the learning model that can be developed is a cooperative learning model with rotating trio exchange strategy. Type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The purpose of this research is to describe implementation of  cooperative learning model with rotating trio exchange strategy, analyze student’s activities and student learning outcomes. The data collection methods used in this research was observation, interview, test, and documentation.In the first cycle, completeness student’s activity is 68,12% and the student learning outcomes classically is 71,79%. And the second cycle, completeness the student’s activity is 79,71% and the student learning outcomes classically is 87,18%. The result shows that the completeness of student’s activity and result learning has increased well.
