Abstract

 

Abstract. Has conducted research class action that aims to enhance the activity and the learning outcomes of students of class XI IPA SMA Yapis Manokwari in physics through the implementation of cooperative learning model type Teams Games Tournament (TGT). The subjects of this research were 24 students consisting of 11 male students and 13 female students. This study was conducted in two cycles, which in every cycle traversed the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The collection of data obtained from observation (teacher activity and active learners) and test (cognitive). The results showed that the application of cooperative learning model type TGT can increase physical activity and learning outcomes of students. This is indicated by an increase in the average percentage of physical activity and learning outcomes of students. In the first cycle the average percentage of active learners amounted to 76.71% and the second cycle increased to 89.58%. While the study of students the first cycle to obtain an average value of 61.25 with the percentage of 33.33% classical and the second cycle the average value of learners increased to 72.50 with the percentage of 79.17% classical.
