Abstract

Abstract. The research purpose is to know the process and result of the development of mathematics learning materials based on character by cooperative learning of student teams achievement divisions (stad) type for logic mathematics topic at grade x students of software engeneiring program. The products refer to the component of character and phases of STAD. Learning instruments development model refers to 4D Thiagarajan models which has 4 steps namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. This research has four products namely lesson plan, worksheet,student book and instrument. The data collection methods used in this research is, test interview, documentation, observation, and questionnaire. Based on the validation process and try out of validated materials. The score of each are 0.904 for student book, 0.924 for lesson plan, 0.891 for worksheet, and 0.919 for instrument.  It can be concluded that the validated materials have satisfied of the validity, practice, and effective criteria.
