Abstract

Abstract. The objective of this research is to determine the application of eksperiment method  with real plants to improve the activities and learning outcomes in teaching material clasification of living thing in 7A grader at SMP Negeri 2 Maesan. This research is a classroom action research that uses one class. The learning process in the action class uses two cycles. The result of the research is the average value learning outcomes in the first cycle of 75% and it improves in the second cycle to 91,66% with criteria clasical of learning outcome 70%. Student activies showed a positive response on learning process with the result 68,05% in the first cycle and 92,4% in the second cycle. It can be concluded that the application eksperiment method  with the help of the real plants can be used improved the student’s activities and learnig outcome in Biology lesson.
