Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' books with a book review instrument and provide recommendations as material for consideration in improving the mathematics students' books with specialization in SMA Class X Curriculum 2013. The research method used is descriptive analytic research. The results obtained are the Active and Creative Student's Book of Specialized Mathematics Learning for Class X in accordance with the aspects and indicators of study, but there are still shortcomings. Some recommendations to correct deficiencies in improving the book include, in this book, it should be equipped with strengthening the character of the Pancasila Student Profile (P3), the need for up-to-date book references for the last 10 years, the need for improvement in the presentation of the scheme and noteworthy errors in writing (typo) so as not to cause confusion and misunderstanding of students.
