This r esearch was intended to know whether there was or not a significant effect of using stick figures on listening comprehension achievement of the eighth grade students of SMPN 13 Jember in the 2012/2013 academic year . Th e research design was Quasi Experimental Research with nonequivalent group pretest posttest design. The students’ scores of listening comprehension achievement were analyzed by applying t-test formula . The result indicated that the value of t-test was 2. 17 , while the t-table with the significant level 5% and degree of freedom (Df) 56 was 2.00 . The value of t-test was 2, 17 and it was higher than 2 . 00 (2. 17 > 2.00) . In conclusion, there was a significant effect of using Stick Figures on Listening Comprehension Achievement of the Eighth Grade Students of SMPN 13 Jember in the 2012/2013 academic year.
