Accident reduction program has been established namely National Public Safety Plan (RUNK) established by the government has not show a significant impact. Weak public transport in Indonesia caused the population to attempt to solve it by using personal vehicle. During the last decade, the motorcycle is the star of transport mode choice in almost all Indonesian regions, however, as the number of motorcycle on the highway increase, making the probability of motorcyclist accidents increased as well. Based on the above conditions, the study has evaluated students’ preferences on reducing accident severity as a result of an accident. Furthermore, the research will be conducted in Makassar and Surabaya. Using Binary Logit Analysis it can be inferred that the probability of respondents who are willing to reduce the serious severity in Surabaya is 78.63% whilst in Makasar 94,73%. Considering on reduc ing slight injury respondent in Surabayawho are willing to reducing the injury is 66,66%, while at Makasar is 93,37%.
