Pengembangan Instrumen Tes Kemampuan Geometri Siswa pada Pokok Bahasan Bangun Ruang Berdasarkan Teori van Hiele

Abstract

Geometry is a branch of mathematics that is studied in school. The results of the student evaluation of MAN 1 Pasuruan on the material of building space are still not satisfactory. The product of this research is in the form of a test instrument to determine student’s geometrical abilities on the subject of spatial structure based on van Hiele’s theory. This study uses a 4-D development model. In this study, an analysis of the validity, reliability, level of difficulty, discriminating power, and the effectiveness of the questin distractors was carried out. In this study, two trials were conducted at the limited trial stage so that a good multiple-choice test instrument was obtained to be continued in the broad trial stage. The results of the second limited trial and extensive trial showed that 25 items were declared valid and reliable. The test questions include valid and reliable questions
