Focus and Scope
BERKALA SAINSTEK (BST) is a national peer-reviewed and open access journal that publishes research papers encompasses all aspects of natural sciences, engineering, technology and computer science. All accepted manuscripts will be published worldwide BST has been indexed in OCLC WorldCat, Crossref, Google Scholar, and Base.
Peer Reviewer Process
BERKALA SAINSTEK published by University of Jember. The articles submitted to this journal will be reviewed at least 2 (two) Reviewers. Every article that goes to the editorial team will be selected through Initial Review processes by Editorial Team. Then, the articles will be sent to the Reviewers or Peer-Reviewer (Mitra Bebestari) and will go to the next selection by Double Blind Preview Process. After that, the articles will be returned to the Authors to revise. These processes take between 3-5 weeks for a maximum time. In the each manuscript, Peer-Reviewer (Mitra Bebestari) will be rated from the substantial and technical aspects. Final decision of articles acceptance will be made by Editors according to Reviewers comments..
BERKALA SAINSTEK publishes 2 issues in 1 volume per year.

BERKALA SAINSTEK provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. All articles published Open Access will be immediately and permanently free for everyone to read and download.

Screening for Plagiarism
The authors must ensure that the written works are fully original and if the author uses the work and / or sentence of another person then must use the citation or quoted correctly. Papers submitted to BERKALA SAINSTEK will be screened and checked for plagiarism by using plagiarism detection tools, but an author should checked it to before submmited. Recommended plagiarism tools are Plagiarisma and Turnitin.
