JOURNAL HISTORY

ABDIMAYUDA: Indonesian Journal of Community Empowerment for Health as a national journal focuses on community engagement programs to advance theory and practice related to all forms of community outreach and engagement in Indonesia. This journal published by the Faculty of Public Health, University of Jember in collaboration with PERSAKMI. The first issue of this journal in February 2022. The name pf ABDIMAYUDA  is an acronym for Rahayu and Berdaya. “Rahayu” means safe and peaceful and “Berdaya” means productive. Therefore, in accordance with the meaning of the name ABDIMAYUDA: Indonesian Journal pf Community Empowerment for Health, the vision of ABDIMAYUDA: Indonesian Journal pf Community Empowerment for Health is to become a forum for academics, practitioners, students, and community representatives to publish various kinds of community eengagement activities aimed at improving the health and productivity of people in Indonesia.

 

ABOUT JOURNAL

ABDIMAYUDA: Indonesian Journal of Community Empowerment for Health with registered number ISSN 2962-5890 (online) is an open access journal published by the Faculty of Public Health, University of Jember in collaboration with PERSAKMI. Since 2022, ABDIMAYUDA: Indonesian Journal of Community Empowerment for Health published two times in February and August with the number of articles in Indonesian in each issue of 6 articles. This journal deals with the practice and process of community engagement programs. This journal is a forum for academics, practitioners, students, and community representatives to explore problems and practices related to various activities involving the community. 

For an author, please read these journal guidelines. If the manuscript submitted is not appropriate with the guidelines or written in a different format, it will BE REJECTED by the editors before further review. All the articles received will be reviewed by peer-reviewers with double-blind methods.

 

FOCUS AND SCOPES 

ABDIMAYUDA: Indonesian Journal of Community Empowerment for Health as a national journal focuses on community engagement programs to advance theory and practice related to all forms of community outreach and engagement in Indonesia. Community engagement programs include community service, application of science and technology to the community, community capacity building and community empowerment. This journal also highlights community empowerment innovations and research reporting based on community involvement and community service. ABDIMAYUDA: Indonesian Journal of Community Empowerment for Health received manuscripts in Indonesian language articles covering relevant scientific fields including:
