Abstract
Abstract. Cosmetics is the preparation of the materials used to support the beauty of women. But not every cosmetic products are safe. Back to nature is the right choice for natural beauty care. Using people are an ethnic that still use herbs as cosmetic ingredients. This research intended to determine the herbs used as ingredients in cosmetics, methods of utilization and herbs that have potential to be deeper in bioactivity test. Sampling was done by using Purposive Sampling and Snowball Sampling. Collecting data obtained through interviews Semi-Stuctured using Open-Ended type questions. The results showed that there were 51 species of 29 families that used as cosmetic ingredients. 7 species of plants are based on Use Value and Informant Concencus Factor have potential to be deeper test related of bioactivity compounds to used as the material of 9 types of beauty treatments.
