Abstract

Abstract.Learning using the game method with kwartet cards used as an alternative learning of biology.  Game method is one of method of learning that can improve student’s learning activity and learning achievement. The purpose of this research is to test the influence of game method with kwartet card on student’s learning activity and learning achievement in Biology subject. This research use two classes, control class using conventional methods and experiment class using game method with kwartet cards . Activity of students in tests use independent sample T-test. Based on the analysis results obtained p = 0.000, in other words there is a difference in the student activity using game method with kwartet cards and it can be concluded that the method of the game with the media card quartets significant effect on student learning outcomes. Learning achievement is analized with ANACOVA test. Based on the analysis, accupied p=0,000 that can be conclude that game method with kwartet card significanly influence the learning activity and the learning achievement.
