Abstract

Abstract : The comprehension of mathematic concept can be reached if a teacher can give optimal teaching and suitable with the student’s learning method.  This research aims to know how do the acceleration student’s learning method in SMP N 3 Jember based on Bruner Theory and Liang Gie Learning method. Data collection methods are qoetionnaire, interview, observation and documentation. The sources triagulation is used to examine a collected data validity. The research results shows that the learning method of acceleration students are: 1) learn a number theory, statistic, and probability by construction theory. 2) learn aljabar by notation theory, 3) learn geometry theory by construction theory,  contrast and variation. 4) acceleration students always prepare themself before receive lessons; 5) active and critical when receive a lesson; 6) write down the understood things; 7) Learning interest is according by daily activities and if their concentration is going down, they will rest for a while and then continue again..
