MODEL PEMBELAJARAN INSTRUCTION, DOING, DAN EVALUATING (MPIDE) DENGAN FOTO KEJADIAN FISIKA PADA PEMBELAJARAN FISIKA DI SMA

Abstract

This study focuses on development of Model Pembelajaran Instruction, Doing, dan Evaluating (MPIDE) with physics phenomena photo to physics instruction in SMA. The purposes of this research are: (1) to describe the model with physics phenomena photo that effective for physics instruction in SMA; (2) to describe student’s activites in physics during learning process; (3) to describe the improvement of student’s achievement; and (4) to describe the mastery of student’s achievement. The kind of this research is action research. This research was conducted to students class X of SMA Negeri 2 Jember. Data collection techniques are observation, test, interview, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are descriptive, percentage, and N-gain. The results of this research are the average of student’s learning activities is 84,280% (very active criteria); the average of student’s achievement improvement is 0,449 (medium criteria); the mastery of student’s achievement is 77,143% (mastery criteria). This research can be concluded: first, the learning model that effective in third cycle by syntax are Instruction group phase (view the physics phenomena photo, before it students get a task to learn subject that relate to physics phenomena photo and get direction from teacher; and make a hypothesis that relate to physics phenomena photo); Doing group phase (write physics concepts from physics phenomena photo; map concepts to the picture; make summary in verbal, mathematic, and sketch); and Evaluating group phase (present the summary and students from other group appreciate the summary from presenting group). Secondly, the average of student’s learning activities is in very active criteria. Third, the improvement of student’s achievement is in medium criteria. The last of the result shows that mastery of student’s achievement is in mastery criteria.
